New Testament Discussion Thread

I wanted to do this since a long long long time, but I’m rather lazy once it gets down to OOC things and the like. But I decided to do it anway.

So here it is! A thread to discuss To Aru Majutsu no Index New Testament!

I’ve seen that there has been a thread to discuss NT5 a while ago, but that was about all if I’m right. So opening this thread for the whole series appeared somewhat attractive to me. I don’t know if anyone would even care, but it’s worth trying.


Considering I suck at coming up with topics for discussions, I simply go with the classics:

Just read through NT11.

It was interesting to read about Misaki's connections with Touma and the psychological warfare between Misaki and Ayu. As always Kamachi never ceases to amuse my curiosity to read on and constantly reminds me that I have a very steep hill to climb if I'm ever going to be as creative. I really liked the interesting ways Kamachi came up with that presented as a major flaw or weakness that could be exploited against Mental Out. We see it all the time throughout his novels that Level 5's aren't as invincible as you'd think but I always find it hard to grasp that idea as much even if those weaknesses are actually quite simple ones you can think of if you stopped and thought about it.

Overall it was a enjoyable read, Touma's harem continues to grow and no sign of the mysterious Number 6.
