The screen on the phone had the same words for the last few minutes. On this day and age, where unsolicited information can take up most of the messages that anyone receives, either by texts, emails or just regular mail; this looks just like another one of those. But for some reason, it hasn't been deleted yet. Maybe because deep down, there is the hope that this is more than just a spam for a faceless company, a real message that has more to it than it seems.

"Do you have what it takes to be a hero? Come to A Certain Park on District 16 at 2:33 pm."

Against most judgment, the message is not ignored. Every step closer to the park fills the air with tension. The clock strikes 2:30 pm, and you are right where you were told, waiting for something to happen. In just three minutes, the phone starts to ring in your hand. There is something slightly ominous, a feeling that once you pick up there will be things that you won't be able to just walk it off.

The phone rings. Do you have what it takes to pick it up?

Welcome to the Rubicon is a Science Side Side Story (Or SSSS) focused on how does one save those around him. There is more to save someone than simply using your right fist on your enemy's face, and while this might be a tried and tested tactic, are you capable of saving someone with more than just your strength? But maybe, the important part is no so much being yourself a hero, but gaining the strength and allies to protect everyone...

The rules are as follows:

There is a soft cap on 4~5 players, but if there is enough interest the cap will increase. So, sign up without fear!
The posting order is not fully strict, just make sure to give other players time to act properly. {Example: While the official posting order is Person A > Person B > Person C, there is not problem going Person C > Person B > Person A as long as nobody gets left behind}.
Try to work as a team. Lone wolves are fun, but you can't always ride alone and hope to win every time.
In case you have a long absence (Over a week), try to send me a PM or post on the OOC thread what are your intentions to move forward, mostly to not stall the thread and letting it move forward with your input.
All requests will be given attention, but I can't promise all of them will happen.
No characters that participate on Arc 3. Since this SS will take place after Arc 3, and since it's not done yet, due to prevent continuity errors characters from those plots can't participate.
Be mindful of what you will do, since you won't enter knowing everything. There is a lot of layers here to play around, and each of them has something of value to either the big picture or the small one.
There is a IC time limit for the events that will happen, but to find the limits you will have to play along...

The guidelines are simple, fill up the form below with your info and some plot related questions so I can have a clear picture of what you want out of this, to make sure everyone is on the same page. Both Dark Side and "Light" Side characters can sign up, but be warned that if I split this into two threads the characters from each Side will be separated. If you have any concerns, ask away!
